At Embody, clients experience a shift: instead of feeling drained or disconnected from their bodies, they begin to feel grounded, capable, and genuinely strong again. Brenda’s coaching is built on clarity, intention, and the belief that progress should feel sustainable—not overwhelming.

Brenda grew up in Sunnyvale and has spent more than seven years coaching a wide range of clients, from youth athletes to active older adults and busy professionals. Her athletic roots run deep: ten years of competitive swimming and five years of cross country and track & field shaped her discipline, while recovering from two stress fractures shifted her understanding of training. That experience taught her how powerful it is to rebuild strength with patience, smart programming, and trust in the process—and it’s a lesson she brings into every session.

Her coaching career started in the pool as a swim instructor, where she fell in love with teaching movement and building confidence through skill progression. She later expanded into personal training at 24 Hour Fitness, strength and conditioning for youth volleyball athletes, and most recently coaching corporate wellness with EXOS for Google. No matter the setting, Brenda’s approach stays the same: blend science, thoughtful programming, and compassionate accountability to help clients create lasting change.

Sessions with Brenda are personalized, intentional, and structured to follow a training plan designed specifically for the individual. Her aim is to help clients move better, feel stronger, and reconnect with their bodies in a way that improves life outside the gym just as much as inside it.

Brenda trains clients exclusively from her private, temperature-controlled home studio in Sunnyvale, offering a focused, comfortable experience without the distractions of a commercial gym.

  • Change doesn’t happen overnight, and 30 days gives us a solid starting point to build momentum, establish habits, and start seeing progress.

    It also helps you stay consistent and fully experience the support and structure of coaching before deciding what’s next.

  • You’ll have access to a coaching app you can use on your phone to keep everything in one place. I’ll guide you in tracking your body’s feedback over time, such as measurements and progress photos, so we can clearly see how things are going.

    This helps me make smart adjustments along the way and keeps you on track to reach your goals.

  • Not at all! Many of my clients start with zero gym experience.

    Your training program will be designed with your experience level in mind, and every workout will include clear instructions, including video demos to guide you through each movement. If you’re ever unsure about your form, you’ll have the option to record yourself right in the app so I can review it and give you personalized feedback.

    You’re never left guessing, and I’ll be here to support and lead you to build confidence in every movement, whether it’s your first time lifting or your hundredth.

  • Nope! I do require some form of nutrition tracking to make sure you’re eating enough to support your goals, but that doesn’t have to mean counting.

    We can use photo logging, hand portions, habit tracking, or simple meal templates. Whatever fits your lifestyle best.

  • Payment is taken monthly.

  • Yes! I can customize your workouts based on whatever equipment you have. Whether it’s a full garage gym or just a set of dumbbells and resistance bands. Your program will be tailored to your space, gear, and goals.
